The Rusty Bucket has a move and benefit planned for July.

The restaurant will move from one end of the Perimeter Loop shopping center to the other end early next month. The Rusty Bucket currently is at 6644 Perimeter Loop Road and will open at 6726 Perimeter Loop Road on July 13.

The move follows the approval of a 4,000-square-foot addition to the Giant Eagle store. The grocery chain plans $14 million in improvements that will include expanding into the southern portion of the shopping center, where the Rusty Bucket sits.

Heather Leonard, vice president of marketing for parent company Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, said the move would increase space at the Dublin location from 3,400 to 4,800 square feet. The new location will handle seating for 179 patrons and will be the largest in the company.

"Our new restaurant in Dublin will provide guests with an exceptional dining experience," Gary Callicoat, president and founder of Rusty Bucket, said in a press release. "It will continue to be a neighborhood destination for families, professionals and anyone looking for outstanding comfort food and drinks in a fun, casual environment."

The new location also will include two garage doors that open for patio dining, two rooms for private parties and new menu items, including artisan pizza and more craft beers.

After dinner service July 3, the Perimeter Center restaurant will close for the move and orientation until July 13, Leonard said.

A benefit for Miracle League will be held prior to the opening from 6 to 9 p.m. July 12.

The charity benefit for the group that provides a baseball league for children with disabilities will include a sampling of menu items and a complimentary selection of beer, wine and cocktails.

Miracle League was formed in 2004 and played its first game at Dublin's Darree Fields Park, 6259 Cosgray Road, in 2005.

The group holds a summer baseball league for children who are aided by "buddies." A night league also is held for teens and adults.

Tickets to the benefit are $50, with 100 percent of ticket proceeds going to the Miracle League.

Tickets must be purchased by July 8 at any Rusty Bucket location or online at
