The Dublin City School District has received the highest rating on the state report card for the eighth year in a row.

The state report card released this week rated the district "excellent with distinction," as the district met or exceeded state requirements.

The Ohio Department of Education bases the report cards on four measurements: 26 state standards, adequate yearly progress, an indicator called "value added" and the performance index score.

The district met all 26 state standards and AYP and exceeded academic-growth expectations measured via valued added.
