Dublin resident Thomas H. McGloshen recently received the Charles "Chuck" Weaver Award from the Ohio Counseling Association.

Dublin resident Thomas H. McGloshen recently received the Charles “Chuck” Weaver Award from the Ohio Counseling Association.

The award honors an individual “who has shown long, consistent and distinguished service to the counseling profession and who has shown exemplary caring for people.”

McGloshen is a professional clinical counselor (supervisor) and independent marriage and family therapist in private practice in Dublin.

He is chair of the Marriage and Family Therapist Professional Standards Committee of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

McGloshen is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Ohio State University, as well as a certified family life educator and group psychotherapist.

During his career, McGloshen has served a Presbyterian pastorate, worked as an outpatient therapist in community mental health and provided career development counseling to church professionals.

Dublin resident Nate Nale was named alumnus of the year by the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools at the group’s annual meeting recently.

Nale, a graduate of Bradford School, began his career at Associated Graphics Inc. Within five years, he was in charge of the entire staff as the production manager.

To strengthen his sales skills, Nale joined a national remodeling company’s corporate marketing team and became the top producer in the nation before returning to AGI to continue his advancement.

In 2004, Nale and another Bradford graduate partnered to found Expose Marketing/Advertising Ltd.

He continues to judge portfolio reviews, conduct seminars and sit on the Bradford Advisory Board.

Dublin resident Monica Foster has been appointed to the position of associate vice president of benefits for Limited Brands Inc.

In this position, she will be responsible for the design, planning and implementation of all company-wide benefits programs, policies and procedures.

Prior to joining Limited Brands, Foster served as the director of healthy lifestyles for Cardinal Health Inc.

Foster also held positions with NatCity Investments, Invest-net and Hazlett, Burt & Watson Inc.

She attended Ohio University and Franklin University and has earned several financial certifications.

Foster is a member of the National Business Group on Health and The Institute on Innovation in Workforce Well-being.
