Police beat

$1,600 in cash reported stolen from residence

A resident of the 7000 block of Willow Run Drive reported $1,600 was stolen from the residence between 2 and 7 a.m. Oct. 14. According to Dublin police reports, a door of the residence was found open after residents awoke from sleeping upstairs.

In other recent Dublin Division of Police incident reports:

* Shoplifting was reported at a business in the 7100 block of Hospital Drive between 11 and 11:10 p.m. Oct. 12. A customer reportedly removed a bottle of wine from the shelf, drank some and replaced it on the shelf without paying. A loss prevention officer at the business apprehended the customer and called Dublin police.

* A vehicle was reported stolen from a business in the 6500 block of Perimeter Drive between 7 a.m. Oct. 3 and 6 p.m. Oct. 11..

* Eleven mp3 players were reported stolen from a business in the 7500 block of Sawmill Road between 4 and 4:05 p.m. Oct. 14. Security cameras recorded a man removing security tags from the merchandise before leaving the store.

* Two bottles of pain medication were reported stolen from a residence in the 5400 block of Bonanza Lane between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Oct. 15.

* Two power tools were reported stolen from a trailer parked in the 5000 block of Tuttle Crossing Boulevard between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Oct. 16.

* Two pairs of earring and a tube of lotion was reported stolen from a residence in the 7000 block of Gorden Farms Parkway between 7 a.m. April 1 and 6 p.m. Aug. 31.

* A laptop computer was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7600 block of Trafalgar Loop between 5 p.m. Oct. 13 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 15.

* Lotion was reported stolen from a business in the 7000 block of Hospital Drive between 3:36 and 3:38 p.m. Oct. 18. According to police reports, a security camera caught a man putting the lotion in his pocket and leaving without paying.

* A laptop, iPad, two pairs of headphones and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6800 block of Perimeter Drive between 9:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Oct. 18.
