The Dublin Convention and Visitors Bureau last week announced winners of the 2012 "Living the Irish Attitude" award.
The award that recognizes local businesses who embrace Dublin's destination brand and slogan: "Dublin, Ohio - Irish is an Attitude" and bring visitors to the city was given out to three local businesses.
The Sisters Sweet Shoppe was honored for creating an Irish experience with a four-leaf clover scavenger hunt for visitors and Irish-themed products.
Our Cupcakery was given the award for its Irish-themed products including Irish bomb gourmet cakes.
Whole Foods earned the award with Irish products and programming such as "Irish Tastes and Toasts" and "Irish Manor House Meal."
"Dublin's destination brand is not simply a campaign theme or positioning line," DCVB executive director Scott Dring said in a news release. "It is an expression of a compelling, unique experience that Dublin offers potential visitors."
