Steel plates valued at $20,000 stolen from business
Dublin police reported 20 steel plates, valued at $2,000, were stolen from behind a business in the 7100 block of Hospital Drive between 1 and 2 p.m. Jan. 23.
In other recent Dublin Division of Police incident reports:
* A baby bag, makeup bag and purse were stolen between 10 and 11 a.m. Jan. 19 from a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of Tuller Road.
A window was smashed to gain entry.
* An iPod was reported stolen from a student at Coffman High School, 6780 Coffman Road between 1 and 2 p.m. Jan. 10.
Reports said the student left her iPod on a desk and went to the restroom. When she returned, the iPod was gone.
* Shoplifting was reported at a business in the 7100 block of Hospital Drive at 9:26 p.m. Jan. 20.
A man reportedly tried to leave with a bottle of rum without paying for it. A loss prevention officer at the business intervened and called police.
* The handle of a vehicle parked at a residence in the 5400 block of Briardale Court was reportedly broken between 8 p.m. Jan. 16 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 18.
Police reports said nothing was stolen from the vehicle.
