Jewelry valued at $3,250 reported stolen

Nine pieces of jewelry, valued at $3,250, were reported stolen from the 5300 block of Drumcally Lane between Feb. 5, 2012 and Oct. 12, 2012.

According to police reports, the victim suspects her boyfriend took the jewelry and sold it to a pawn shop. They no longer reside together.

An iPod left on top of a book bag at Sells Middle School, 144 W. Bridge St., was reported stolen between 3 and 5 p.m. Feb. 1.

According to police reports, the iPod and a cell phone were left on top of a book bag and covered with a sweatshirt while the student attended rehearsal nearby.

An iPod was reported stolen from a residence in the 5600 block of Briardale Court between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Feb. 1.

According to police reports, nothing else was stolen or disturbed at the residence.

An animal at large was reported in the 8300 block of Glen Tanar Court between 3 and 3:05 p.m. Feb. 3.

According to police reports, when a man walked to his car, a dog from a neighboring residence ran out and bit him in the leg.
