Almost 50 Dublin City School students earned superior and excellent ratings at the Central District Science Day held at Columbus State Community College March 16.

Almost 50 Dublin City School students earned superior and excellent ratings at the Central District Science Day held at Columbus State Community College March 16.

Dublin students competed against almost 400 students from 40 central Ohio schools and took students from Coffman and Jerome high school and each of its four middle schools.

Students from Jerome High School, Karrer and Sells middle schools earned their schools awards for having at least five students score superior on their science project.

Students who received superior ratings at the March 16 contest are: Aishwarya Murali, Akanksha Malhotra, Allyssa Shoaf, Andrei Roman, Anisha Babu, Arya Kunal, Bawa Jasmohan, Camden Dezse, Cassidy Byron, Christiana Sweeney, Deepthi Thumuluri, Hannah Lathrop, Janvie Naik, Justin Monroe, Justin Nelson, Kanaad Parvate,

Morgan Nelson, Nate Gordon, Nethra Thenappan, Nishant Pradhan, Noah Melchor, Noah Schneider, Peter Glaubitz, Prahadish Srinivasan, Pranav Murali, Pranav Shankar, Pratheek Gandhodi, Rama Balasubramaniam, Ruoheng Qiu, Sriram Raju, Susie Kim, Vardaan Gangal, Vikram Srivastava, Vishakha Gupte, Yang-Ji Kim and Zachary Zhou.

The students with superior ratings will move onto the State Science Day at Ohio State University May 11.

Students who received excellent ratings for their projects were Christian Dezse, Joel J. David, Joon Sung Oh, Katherine Zhang, Kaushik Peram, Madeleine Gagne, Nikita Vivekanandan, Noah Paoletti, Shivam Gangal, Sri Varre and Sriman Marpadga.
