Thomas B. Weihe of Dublin has been named to the Ohio University Foundation Board.

•Thomas B. Weihe of Dublin has been named to the Ohio University Foundation Board.

Foundation Board trustees are chosen based on their strong ties to OU, a demonstrated ability to give and raise funds for the university and their commitment to the university through involvement with a school, campus or program.

Weihe received his bachelor's degree in education from OU in 1961. Since 2011, he has been a member of the university's Intercollegiate Athletics' "The Promise Lives Campaign" committee.

Weihe currently serves as president of Weihe Inc. He also has served as a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

•Bill Cody of Dublin has been elected an assistant vice president by the board of directors at State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company.

Cody, who serves as State Auto's claims finance director, joined the company in January of this year.

He holds a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and is a member and Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society as well as the American Academy of Actuaries.
