Dublin Chamber of Commerce Staff Appreciation Luncheon, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 24, at the Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell. Guests are invited for a gourmet lunch, chair massages from Massage Envy and the chance to win door prizes. In addition, all attendees will learn the craft of jewelry making from the experts at 1 Stop Bead Shop, and will design a special item. Tickets are $26 per person or $210 for a corporate table of eight, which includes newsletter and event program recognition. Country Club at Muirfield Village, paper shredding and electronics recycling event for the Dublin and surrounding communities, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4, in the country club parking lot, 8715 Muirfield Drive, Dublin. Fireproof Records provides the shredding on-site and disposes of the shredded paper. New for 2013 is recycling of old or obsolete electronic equipment including, but not limited to, computers, servers, monitors, VCRs, televisions, video games, telephones, wires, and cables. Accurate IT will handle the recycling of all electronics. Shredding and recycling is provided free of charge with the exception of a $15 charge for each recycled tube-style television. The Country Club at Muirfield Village Foundation coordinates the event, and will accept donations.
