Jerome teacher dies at school

Dublin Jerome High School teacher Christopher Bolles, 62, died at the school Wednesday morning, April 24.

Bolles, a science teacher at Jerome, had been with Dublin City Schools since 1998 and spent most of his tenure at Scioto High School, according to information from Superintendent David Axner said.

The Dublin Board of Education accepted Bolles’ June retirement in November.

Crisis teams were placed at Jerome High School on April 24 after the death and will remain on site for students and staff as long as needed, Axner said.
