Dublin: Seven air conditioners stolen from Blazer businesses

Seven air-conditioning units were stolen from businesses on Blazer Memorial Parkway between May 31 and June 1.

A business in the 5100 block of Blazer Memorial Parkway reported its air-conditioning unit and copper attachments had been stolen sometime between 7 p.m. May 31 and 8:35 a.m. June 1.

After Dublin Police checked with nearby businesses, they found that six other units had been stolen and three were vandalized.

According to reports, police suspect a vehicle was pulled into the courtyard between the businesses and the air-conditioning units were loaded in.

In other recent Dublin Police reports:

* Four golf clubs and $406 were stolen from a business in the 8200 block of Avery Road between 12:01 and 6:30 a.m. June 2.

Reports said a door was forced open to get into the business.

* Two TVs and a remote control for electronics were stolen from a residence in the 5400 block of Desert Lane between noon June 1 and 10:15 a.m. June 2.

A screen was pried from a window to get into the home, according to reports.

* Nine different drugs and syringes were reported stolen from a business in the 7500 block of Hospital Drive between 12:01 a.m. and 3 p.m. May 31.

An employee was discovered taking the drugs from the business and they were recovered.

Reports said the employee admitted to taking drugs from the business since March for personal use.

* A laptop, two bags, clothes, iPod and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a business in the 6700 block of Village Parkway between 9:30 p.m. June 1 and 12:01 a.m. June 2.

The lock on the vehicle was removed to get in, according to reports.

* A purse, ring, saw, birth certificate and social security card were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of Village Parkway between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. June 1.

The lock was punched out to get into the vehicle, reports said.

* A set of golf clubs and bag were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5900 block of Venture Drive between 11:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. June 2.

* A $3,000 Rolex was stolen from a residence in the 5500 block of Stockton Way between 7:30 p.m. June 3 and 7:30 p.m. June 4. The owner said no other items are missing from the residence.

* Three rain suits, valued at $750, were stolen from a tent in the 5700 block of Memorial Drive between 3 and 5:21 p.m. May 31.

* A pair of jean was stolen from a residence in the 7800 block of Tipperary Court South between 12:54 and 6:09 p.m. June 2.
