Dublin's Division of Fleet Management was ranked 25 out of the top 100 fleets in the U.S. at a national conference.

Dublin's fleet department moved up to 25 from a 2012 ranking of 63 at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference held in Texas last week.

Dublin Fleet Manager Darryl Syler credited the city's compressed natural gas station, use of high-performance clean diesel and inclusion in a regional fleet service agreement for the ranking in the top 25 percent.

Awards were given based on criteria such as accountability, use of technology, collaboration, creativity, efficiency and staff development.
