Dublin: Man with knife robs Muirfield Drive business

A business in the 7100 block of Muirfield Drive reported an aggravated robbery.

A man wearing a bandanna over his mouth entered the business between 10:40 and 10:43 p.m. Sept. 1 with a knife and robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of money.

In other recent Dublin Division of Police reports:

* Japanese yen, valued at $540, was stolen from a residence in the 3900 block of Mulryan Drive between 8 a.m. Aug. 23 and 4 p.m. Aug. 26.

The money was stolen from a bag in a closet.

* Earrings, necklaces and other pieces of jewelry were stolen from a residence in the 5700 block of Murray Circle between 12:30 and 9:45 p.m. Sept. 1.

A window in the front was left open and when the reporting party returned home, the front door was unlocked.

* A kayak was stolen from behind a residence in the first block of Riverview Street between 4 p.m. Aug. 30 and 2 p.m. Aug. 31.

* A wallet and its contents were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a business in the 6300 block of Perimeter Loop Road between 9 and 10 a.m. Aug. 28.

* A smart phone was lost in the 6700 block of Coffman Drive between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. Aug. 30.
