Coffman magazine wins honors
Coffman High School's student news magazine took a high honor for work during the 2012-13 school year.
The Perspective earned the George H. Gallup Award from Quill & Scroll, the international honor society for high school journalists.
The magazine snagged superior ratings in all categories including overall coverage, visuals, writing and editing, policy guidelines and business practices.
Editors-in-chief for the 2012-13 school year were Kelsey Payne and Lindsey Welch.
Perspective staff members included Lizzi Barnes, Molly Hessel, Shelby Saunders, Riley Steiner, Taylor Waldron, Abbey Willette and Alexis Zabor.
Teacher Janie Sanders is the adviser.
