A Dublin boy struck a car in Dublin while riding his bike Friday morning.

At 8:21 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, a Dublin boy ran into a vehicle as he rode his bicycle east on Tara Hill Drive into the Muirfield Drive intersection, said Jode Andes, Dublin senior public information officer.

The boy, confirmed as a Karrer Middle School student by Dublin City Schools, was transported to Dublin Methodist Hospital where Med Flight took him to Children's Hospital.

There was no word on any injuries sustained by the driver, who stayed at the scene of the accident this morning, Andes said.
