Three vehicles are broken into on Briardale Lane

Dublin police reported three vehicles parked at residences in the 5400 block of Briardale Lane were broken into in the overnight hours between Nov. 4 and 5.

Reports said windows were broken to get into each car.

From two of the vehicles, a car stereo, laptop computer, global positioning system unit, credit cards and other items were stolen.

Nothing was believed to have been stolen from a third vehicle broken into, according to reports.

In other recent Dublin Police reports:

* Police got a description of a man who allegedly stole a spare tire from a vehicle parked in the 5000 block of Tuttle Crossing Boulevard between 3:30 and 3:56 p.m. Nov. 6.

According to reports, witnesses saw a white male with longer dark hair remove the tire and leave in a silver Volkswagen Jetta.

Another spare tire was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5500 block of Parkcenter Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Nov. 6.

* Several rolls of wire, valued at about $1,500, were stolen from a locked box at a construction site in the 6500 block of Perimeter Drive between noon Nov. 2 and 7 a.m. Nov. 4.

The box was locked, but part of it was pried open and the wire was stolen, reports said.

* A business in the 400 block of Metro Place North reported a man stole a flat-screen TV between 12:01 a.m. Nov. 3 and9:15 a.m. Nov. 4.

The business provided a name of the suspect, but could offer no other information, according to reports.
