Man says someone stole gas from his vehicle's tank

A man told Dublin police someone drilled a hole in the gas tank of his car while it was parked at a business in the 6900 block of Riverside Drive between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 18.

About five gallons of gas were stolen after the hole was drilled into the gas tank, the man told police.

In other recent Dublin police reports:

* Two vehicles parked in the 300 block of St. Andrews Drive were broken into through windows between 8 p.m. Nov. 19 and 6 a.m. Nov. 20.

An iPhone was stolen from one vehicle and tools from another.

* A window of a vehicle parked at a business in the 7500 block of Sawmill Road was broken and a gym bag and purses were stolen between 6 and 7:15 p.m. Nov. 15.

* A woman reported her car broken into while it was parked at a residence in the 7000 block of Muirfield Drive between 11 p.m. Nov. 15 and 8 a.m. Nov. 16.

A purse was stolen from the vehicle.

* A vehicle parked at a residence in the 6000 block of Castlemaine Lane was broken into through a window and a stereo and $40 in change were stolen between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 15 and 9:30 a.m. Nov. 16.

* A man reported someone broke a window in his vehicle that was parked in the 5700 block of Parkside Crossing and stole a car stereo valued at $1,000 between 12:01 and 8 a.m. Nov. 17.

Police contacted another resident in the 5800 block of Parkside Crossing after finding his car broken into as well. A GPS unit, cell phone charger and earrings were stolen.

* A laptop computer and bag were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of Dublin Center Drive between 4:40 and 8:28 p.m. Nov. 15.

* A set of golf clubs was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Turvey Loop East between noon Nov. 16 and 10 a.m. Nov. 17.

* A woman who lives in the 5600 block of Woodsview Crossing told police someone broke a window in her vehicle and stole a purse between 11 p.m. Nov. 16 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 17.

* A briefcase was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Perimeter Lakes Drive between 11:30 a.m. Nov. 15 and 7:54 a.m. Nov. 16. A window was broken to get into the vehicle.

* A window of a vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Lakeside Crossing was broken and a car stereo was stolen between 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and 1:51 p.m. Nov. 17.

* An in-dash GPS unit was taken from a car parked at a residence in the 5600 block of Hathaway Court between 6 p.m. Nov. 16 and 11:15 a.m. Nov. 17.
