New Wendy’s flagship opens in Dublin

By ThisWeek Community News  •

Wendy's opened its new flagship restaurant across from company headquarters Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 4555 W. Dublin-Granville Road.

The new restaurant, which seats nearly twice as many as most Wendy's restaurants, replaces the Wendy's at the southeast corner of Riverside Drive and state Route 161 that opened in 1977. That land and restaurant, which is just west of the new flagship store, will be acquired by Dublin and used for a roundabout at the intersection.

The new building features a Wi-Fi bar, a community room with Wendy's memorabilia and a life-size bronze statue of Wendy's founder Dave Thomas.

The new flagship restaurant carries the redesign done at other restaurants on Bethel Road and Tuttle Crossing Boulevard in northwest Columbus.
