Dublin City School District Treasurer Stephen Osborne has been named to the Ohio Educator Standards Board.

Dublin City School District Treasurer Stephen Osborne has been named to the Ohio Educator Standards Board.

Osborne will serve a two-year term on the board that promotes educational quality, professionalism and public accountability.

"It's an honor to be appointed to the board and I look forward to serving," Osborne said in a news release. "The board has a track record of making a positive difference for Ohio schools."

Osborne was appointed to the standards board by the State Board of Education and will represent the Ohio Association of School Business Officials.

Grizzell Middle School Principal Dustin Miller sits on the board as the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators representative.

In the past, the board has developed state standards for teachers and administrators, defined the master teacher designation and recommended policies to close achievement gaps among students.
