Dublin: 25 silver dollars and $6,000 cash stolen

A credit card, 25 silver dollar coins and $6,000 were stolen from a residence in the 5200 block of Aryshire Drive between Dec. 1, 2013 and Jan. 10, 2014.

The items were all kept in a secure location in one room of the home and there was no sign of a forced entry. The only people with access to the room, the resident said, were employees of two cleaning companies.

In other recent Dublin police reports:

* Auto parts, valued at $800, were stolen after a window of a vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Mark Lane was broken at 12:13 a.m. Jan. 13.

The vehicle's owner said he heard his alarm going off and discovered the window broken.

The reporting party said he saw a silver minivan driving from the scene, but police were unable to locate the vehicle.

* Four tires were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of Sawmill Road between 9 p.m. Jan. 13 and 9 a.m. Jan. 15.

The vehicle was put up on concrete blocks to remove the tires.

* Criminal damaging was reported when a rock was thrown through a window of a residence in the 5900 block of Brigids Close Drive between 12:50 and 1 p.m. Jan. 11.

The rock broke a double-pane window.
