St. Brendan Women's Club, Famous Spaghetti Dinner, 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 8, in the multipurpose room at St. Brendan, 4475 Dublin Road. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 10 and younger. Classes and workshops

Columbus Sail & Power Squadron, public boating course, 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, Feb. 15 through March 1, at Goodwill Industries 1331 Edgehill Drive. Check-in is 7:30 a.m. Feb. 15. Topics will include boating safety, elementary seamanship, small boat handling, adverse conditions, weather, rules of the road, an introduction to charting, piloting and coastal navigation and Ohio laws and rules. This class is designed for power boaters, sail boaters, large and small boaters and new boaters. Anyone born after 1981 must have proof of boater education to operate or to supervise youth operators on individual watercraft or boats with motors in excess of 10 horsepower.
