Oscar's of Dublin will close a few days next week to fix the dining room floor after pipes burst when extreme cold hit central Ohio earlier this month.

Oscar's, 84 N. High St. in Historic Dublin, will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 3-4, while the dining room floor is replaced.

The work could possibly close the restaurant for lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 5, said owner and chef Mike Tibbetts.

The restaurant has been operating since the pipes burst early this month when a polar vortex brought below zero temperatures to central Ohio, but Tibbetts said the floor needs to be replaced.

Work on replacing the floor will begin after the restaurant closes Saturday night, Feb. 1, but he said the business should be open by midweek.

The restaurant is closed Sundays.
