Dublin: Galloway man arrested for robbing Marysville youth

A robbery was reported when a Marysville minor approached Dublin police with lacerations to his face about 2 p.m. Feb. 1 in the 6900 block of Avery Road.

The minor said he met a friend to trade some property and he was then beaten.

An X-Box and cell phone were reported stolen.

Dublin police arrested a 20-year-old Galloway man for the robbery at 11:34 p.m. Feb. 1.

In other recent Dublin Police reports:

* A handgun and ammunition were stolen from a residence in the 5300 block of Drumcally Lane between 5 p.m. Feb. 1 and 10:58 a.m. Feb. 3.

* Several rounds of ammunition and a portable CD player were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Drumcally Lane between 8:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 6 after a window was broken.

The window of another vehicle parked in the same block was also broken during the same time and stereo equipment, checks and other items were reported stolen.

* A rifle and ammunition were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 5500 block of Loch More Court East between 10 p.m. Feb. 3 and 8 a.m. Feb. 4.

The items were stolen from inside the car and the trunk.

* The passenger side window of a vehicle parked at a residence in the 6100 block of Perimeter Lakes Drive was broken and a wallet containing a credit card, ID and $109 was stolen from the center consul between 4 p.m. Feb. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 4.

* A window of a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence in the 7700 block of Bartles Avenue was broken sometime between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and 8:30 a.m. Feb. 6 and a global positioning system unit was stolen.

* A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of Jaymes Street after a window was broken sometime between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 5 and noon Feb. 6.

* A door lock of a vehicle parked at a business in the 7500 block of Sawmill Road was broken and a makeup bag and its contents were stolen between 7:30 and 9:15 p.m. Jan. 31.

* The window of a vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Lakeshire Drive was broken between 8:15 p.m. Feb. 3 and 8:45 a.m. Feb. 4.

An in-dash DVD receiver was stolen from the vehicle.

* An in-dash stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence in the 5400 block of Armistead Lane between 9 p.m. Feb. 5 and 6:15 a.m. Feb. 6.

A window was broken to get into the car.

* A vehicle parked at a residence in the 5600 block of Loch More Court West was broken into between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 3 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 4.

The glove compartment and car were gone through and about $30 in change was stolen.

* A purse and its contents were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked outside a residence in the 5800 block of Murray Circle between 10:25 and 11 a.m. Feb. 4.

The vehicle was running and unlocked to warm up right outside the residence, reports said.
