Dublin: Milford Center man arrested on assault charge

Dublin Police arrested a Milford Center, Ohio, man for assault Feb. 16.

The police received a call from a resident in the 8600 block of Hawick Court and said the man was drunk and breaking windows at about 6:15 a.m. Feb. 16.

When police arrived, they heard yelling and saw broken windows and furniture that had been thrown around the residence.

They arrested the man.

In other recent Dublin police reports:

* Copper wiring, valued at $400, was stolen from a building in the 7000 block of Post Road between 4:04 and 4:10 a.m. Feb. 19.

A worker found a man in a dumpster near the building. Reports said the man fled with another man who had been in the building.

* A wallet containing an ID, gift card, debit card and insurance card was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 6800 block of Fallen Timbers Drive between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 11 a.m. Feb. 17.

* A purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6500 block of Dublin Park Drive between 2:16 and 4:31 p.m. Feb. 15. A window was broken to get into the car.

* Criminal damaging was reported at a residence in the 7200 block of Achill Drive after someone scratched the word "slut" onto the side of a car parked outside the residence between 7 p.m. Feb. 14 and 8 a.m. Feb. 16.

Another vehicle parked at a residence in the 7100 block of Achill Drive had three tires slashed between 10 p.m. Feb. 15 and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

* A car parked in the 6900 block of Berr Lane was damaged when someone scratched the letters "MILF" onto the side of the car between 5:45 p.m. Feb. 16 and 12:15 p.m. Feb. 17.

* Three tires on a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of Village Parkway were slashed between 9 a.m. Feb. 15 and 12:30 p.m. Feb. 16.

* A vehicle was damaged while the owner was at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, 5600 Post Road, between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

All four tires were punctured, a windshield wiper was bent, the front and back license plate was bent and both sides of the car were scratched with a sharp object.
