Dublin: Unlocked Jeep stolen from business lot on Hard Road

A man reported to Dublin police someone stole his unlocked Jeep from the parking lot of a business in the 3800 block of Hard Road.

The man said he left his vehicle at the business overnight after arriving at about 5 p.m. April 1.

When he returned to get his vehicle at 6 a.m. April 2, the Jeep was gone.

In other recent Dublin Division of Police reports:

* A resident of the 7600 block of Aldridge Place reported someone stole a check from him and wrote it to a Bank of America account for rental payment on office space.

The check was stolen sometime between Sept. 1, 2011, and April 8, 2014.

* The window of a car parked at a business in the 5700 block of Avery Road was broken and a purse and its contents were stolen from the car between 7:20 and 7:38 a.m. April 8.

* A purse, wallet, credit cards, lunch bag and other items were stolen from an unlocked car parked at a business in the 6400 block of Post Road between 7:58 and 8:08 a.m. April 8.

* A purse and its contents were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic School, 7175 Avery Road between 8:10 and 8:15 a.m. April 8.

* A 17-year-old Coffman High School student reported someone stole her purse while she was at the school between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. April 8. The purse contained an ID, change and credit card. She told police she was unsure of when it was stolen.
