A Dublin-area man has been named the fugitive of the week by the Columbus City Attorney’s Office after stealing nearly 100 cases of soda.

Abdullah Alrawhana, 33, has nine warrants for his arrest, including five from Columbus, two from Dublin and two from Grove City.

On March 4, Alrawhana allegedly stole 24 12-pack cases of Pepsi from a Dublin Giant Eagle, followed by 25 cases of soda from a West Side Family Dollar store on March 7.

According to reports, Alrawhana "duped an employee into allowing him to load the cases into his vehicle before paying,” a news release from the Columbus City Attorney’s Office stated. “After loading up, Alrawhana simply drove away.”

On March 10, he allegedly stole 18 cases of energy drinks from a Dublin Kroger. On March 12, he allegedly stole another 28 cases of Mountain Dew from a West Side Kroger.

Police suspect the bounty from the carbonated crime spree was sold to under-the-table convenience stores.

Alrawhana, who’s last known address was 7201 Hopewell Street in Dublin, has black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 192 pounds.

Anyone with information on Alrawhana is asked to contact Assistant City Prosecutor Bill Hedrick at 614-645-8874 or brhedrick@columbus.gov.
