Dublin: Armed man steals drugs from Walgreen's

An armed man robbed Walgreen's at 6805 Hospital Drive at 10:30 a.m. May 27. The man took three or four bottles of percocet from the business and fled before police officers could arrive, Dublin Division of Police reports said.

The armed robber was described as a white male with short brown hair and a slender build. He is about 5-foot-6-inches tall and was wearing a blue plaid shirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery, information from the police said.

No one was injured in the robbery.

In other recent Dublin police reports:

* A purse containing credit cards, an ID, prescription medication and gift card was stolen from a vehicle parked at Darree Fields, 6259 Cosgray Road between 1:30 and 5 p.m. May 24.

A window was broken to get into the vehicle.

* The window of a vehicle parked in the 6300 block of Woerner-Temple Road was broken and a purse and its contents were stolen between 1:40 and 4:50 p.m. May 26.

* A purse containing $100, credit cards, a wallet, gift cards and other items was stolen from a car parked at a residence in the 7400 block of McCarthy Court between 8 p.m. May 25 and 3 p.m. May 26.

The vehicle was unlocked and the door was found ajar, according to reports.

* A business in the 6500 block of Dublin Center Drive reported a man had stolen about $480 worth of lock and camera equipment over the past month between April 22 and May 29 by putting the items in a bucket and not paying for them.

The man was reported to have left the business in a gray Ford Taurus.
