Dublin City Manager Marsha Grigsby this week announced she plans to retire next year.
A longtime Dublin employee, Grigsby was named city manager in December 2010.
She plans to retire Jan. 30, 2015.
“Personally, I feel the time is right,” she said in a news release from the city. “There are always dynamic projects on the horizon in the city of Dublin, so there really isn’t an opportune time to leave. As a team, we’ve accomplished much. And because of each and every employee in our organization, the city of Dublin is poised to continue down the path of success.”
Dublin City Council members soon will begin to develop a selection process for choosing the next city manager.
