A business in the 6300 block of W. Dublin-Granville Road was broken into between 5:45 p.m. June 29 and 8:30 a.m. June 30.
An employee arrived in the morning on June 30 to find a window in the front door broken. About $202 in cash was stolen from the cash register and the night deposit.
The business also reported that checks were stolen during the break-in.
In other recent Dublin police reports:
• Several pieces of copper used in construction were stolen from a site on John Shields Parkway between 6 p.m. June 27 and 5 a.m. June 28.
A padlock on a gate was cut to gain access to the site.
• Residents in the 5700 block of Terre Prince Court reported criminal damaging after someone removed their mailbox and used it to break through the front storm door of the home between 2 and 2:10 a.m. July 1.
The resident reported he was sleeping when the damage occurred, but said his son was alerted to it by the sound of breaking glass.
No one was seen leaving the scene by the time the residents realized what happened, according to reports.
