The Red Roof Inn in Dublin will celebrate a grand re-opening with a new name July 31.
The 106-room hotel opened in 1985 at 5125 Post Road and will celebrate its upgrade to a Red Roof Inn Plus from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 31.
The franchise owned by Andy and Becky Vansani was renovated to include 12 premium rooms and other amenities for guests such as wood floors, new furniture, mini-fridges, microwaves and snack boxes.
Renovations on the hotel started in January and wrapped up in April, said Deborah Iacoboni, senior vice president at InnVite Hospitality.
"We've received tremendous feedback from our customers who have previewed the premium rooms," Judy Miller, general manager of the Dublin hotel, said in a news release from the company.
"In particular, they say that they love the snack boxes and additional guest service availability. Customers who stay in a premium room once almost always request one again."
The July 31 open house will include a performance from The Kells.
