Dublin mosquito traps test positive for West Nile

After mosquito traps in west parts of Dublin tested positive for West Nile virus, Franklin County Public Health will spray areas of the city for the bug tonight, July 31.

Areas south of Post Road and west of I-270 will be sprayed for mosquitoes starting at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, July 31.

A map of the areas set to be sprayed can be found online at myfcph.org.

Franklin County Public Health sprayed the Coffman Park to prepare for the Dublin Irish Festival July 30.

Residents should report problem areas in the community for potential spraying by calling 614-525-2483.
