Dublin: Motorist says man exposed himself on Highland Croy Road

A woman reported to Dublin Division of Police officers she saw a man standing outside his car in the 8200 block of Hyland Croy Road and masturbating at 10 a.m. July 28.

She honked her horn at the man and he got into his car and drove away.

The man was described as being between 55- and 60 -years-old and was driving a light-colored, small car.

In other recent Dublin police reports:

* Several pieces of jewelry and gold coins were stolen from a residence in the 5900 block of Roundstone Place between 11:35 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. July 31.

The residence was broken into through the back door, which was damaged during the break-in.

* A resident of the 5700 block of Stockton Way reported someone broke into the residence between 11:30 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. July 27.

Although the garage door had been closed and doors locked, the resident said when she returned the garage door was partially open and the front door door of the residence was open. Drawers inside the residence had been ransacked and $63 stolen.

* A space heater and $780 worth of copper parts were stolen from a trailer parked in the 8000 block of Pleasant Drive between 6 p.m. July 23 and 9:30 a.m. July 25.

The locked door of the trailer was pried open to get in.

* Two welders, valued at $5,000, were stolen from a building in the 7400 block of Rings Road between 8 a.m. July 14 and 3:30 p.m. July 25.

There was no sign of forced entry, but the building was locked when the welders were discovered to be missing.

* A motor, battery and golf bag with clubs were stolen from the garage of a residence in the 5700 block of Briardale Lane between 2 p.m. July 17 and 2 p.m. July 26.

The garage door was damaged to gain access.

* A man reported $1,200 in Japanese yen was stolen from his residence in the 5700 block of Parkside Crossing between 11 p.m. July 21 and 8 a.m. July 26.

* A TV, remote and two phone books were stolen from an unlocked residence in the 5400 block of Carson City Lane between 7:56 a.m. July 28 and 7:56 a.m. July 29.

* A man reported $150 in gift cards were stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of Donegal Cliffs Drive between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. July 30.

Workers from a moving company had access to the residence at the time, according to reports.

* Someone tried to pry open six doors at a business in the 6300 block of Emerald Parkway between 4 p.m. July 25 and 7:45 a.m. July 28.

The doors were all damaged and two will have to be replaced, but access into the building was not gained.

* An envelope containing $2,500 in cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle while parked at a business in the 7000 block of Muirfield Drive between 1:55 and 2:05 p.m. July 23.

* A cell phone was reported stolen after it was left unattended in Indian Run Park, 700 Shawan Falls Drive, between 5 and 6 p.m. July 28.

* A purse and its contents were reported stolen after accidentally being left at a business in the 6700 block of Perimeter Loop Road between 4:45 and 6 p.m. July 31.

* A resident of the 5700 block of Muirfield Drive reported two male teenagers drove a golf cart from a nearby golf club onto her patio between 3:15 and 3:26 p.m. July 27. The teens then ran away.
