A stretch of Dublin Road north of Glick Road was reopened Thursday, Aug. 21, a day ahead of schedule.
The road was closed starting Aug. 11 as construction on left-turn lanes for the Dublin-Glick intersection began.
Although roads will remain open during the construction, it remains an active site and drivers should expect traffic delays.
The construction project will add a left-turn lane to each leg of the intersection, pedestrian facilities on the north side of Glick Road and west side of Dublin Road, upgraded mast arms for the traffic signals, push buttons for pedestrians and LED signal heads.
The construction is expected to be completed in November, with final improvements such as new a new traffic signal and curb work completed by May 2015.
