Megan Scoliere will be joining her older sister to play women's soccer at Ohio State.

The senior midfielder for the Dublin Scioto High School girls soccer team recently made a verbal commitment to OSU, where here sister Danielle is a two-year starter and three-year letterwinner with the Buckeyes.

"I played with my sister as a freshman (at Scioto) and it will be great to have a chance to play with her again," said Megan, who also looked at Kentucky and Duquesne in Pittsburgh. "I have always loved OSU and have wanted to play there."

Megan is the all-time leading scorer at Scioto with 32 goals and 29 assists for 93 total points. She has 13 goals this season entering a district semifinal Oct. 30 against Pickerington North or Westerville North.

"Megan makes things happen and is an outstanding leader on the field," Scioto coach Chris Adams said. "She's a special kind of player that you don't get the opportunity to coach very often. You have to love what she can do for the team."

Megan said she will be joined at OSU by several Ohio Premier club teammates including Meredith DeLong of Bexley, Aubrey Fisher of Olentangy Liberty, Ashley Grindlebaum of Fairbanks and Chelsy Swackhamer of Tipp City Bethel.
