Lindsay Agnew, Makenzie Costner and Kaitlin Miller signed letters of intent to play at the Division I collegiate level during a ceremony Feb. 6.
Lindsay Agnew, Makenzie Costner and Kaitlin Miller, who helped the Dublin Jerome High School girls soccer team enjoy success during their careers, signed letters of intent to play at the Division I collegiate level during a ceremony Feb. 6.
Agnew will play at Ohio State, Costner at Western Kentucky and Miller at Kentucky.
Last season, the Celtics finished 16-2-3 overall after losing to Pickerington North 1-0 in double overtime in a Division I regional final.
Jerome won its second consecutive OCC-Cardinal Division title, finishing 7-0.
As sophomores, they helped Jerome reach the state final before losing to Strongsville 1-0.
Last season, Miller, a midfielder, was Player of the Year in the league, along with being named first-team all-district and first-team all-state. She led the team in scoring with 17 goals and 16 assists.
Costner, a defender, was first-team all-league, first-team all-district and second-team all-state.
Agnew, a forward, played in just 13 games because of her commitment with the Canadian U17 national team. She had 14 goals and 11 assists for the Celtics.
Agnew, Costner and Miller were named to ThisWeek's Super 12 team.
As a junior, Agnew was captain of the Super 12 team.
