Brader resigns as Jerome coach

Josh Brader has resigned as coach of the Dublin Jerome High School girls soccer team, in part because of family and work commitments.

“This was an extremely difficult decision,” he said. “These young ladies have become my second family over the last two years. When we came to Jerome we presented a vision and standard to these girls, and their commitment to relentlessly achieve what we set forth makes me so proud of them.”

In two seasons under Brader, Jerome was 36-4-4 overall and 14-0 in OCC-Cardinal Division play, winning two league titles.

The Celtics reached the Division I state final in 2011 but lost to Strongsville 1-0.

Last season, the Celtics finished 16-2-3 after losing to Pickerington North 1-0 in a regional final.
