This is an important distinction. In the same edition, the Dispatch editorial “Reckless lawmaking” called the Ohio House to task for passing a bill to outlaw both red-light and speed cameras.
Law-enforcement officials to a person have praised red-light cameras for reducing accidents and saving lives.
Let's see whether our esteemed legislature is able to discern that red-light and speed cameras are two different issues and fix the speed cameras where needed and retain the lifesaving red-light ones.
