A painting by Gahanna resident Richard Clem was awarded Best in Show at a Meet the Artists reception, held Nov. 14, at Capital University's Schumacher Gallery.

Clem's painting features a New Albany landscape, and is part of a juried exhibition of the Ohio Plein Air Society. The show features more than 70 paintings, and continues through Friday, Dec. 5.

The 24-by-30 oil painting represents a scene along Walnut Street in New Albany.

ChristmasFair will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Nov. 29 and 30, at the Aladdin Shrine Center, 3850 Stelzer Road.

The winter arts and crafts fair features the work of more than 150 artists and craftspersons from throughout Ohio and the Midwest, including Gahanna residents Trish Randall and Gail Stafford.
