Toni Pasch is hoping those with a nose for fashion will find beautiful jewelry at an affordable price at Jewels and More.

Pasch said she decided to open the store to bring a Pandora dealership to the area. People come from as far away as Newark and Granville to buy the Pandora jewelry, she said.

"It is such the rage right now the Pandora," Pasch said. "This area, Creekside, we fell in love with."

Jewels and More offers jewelry and accessories priced from $6 to $300.

"If you are walking around after dinner, you can buy something for yourself or a friend," Pasch said.

In addition to the Pandora, Jewels and More offers Reverse-a-Purse, John Medeiros and sports beads and bracelets in Ohio State scarlet and gray.

Toni and her husband, Terry, live in Galena and thought Creekside was a nice place to visit. The area also needed accessories and fashion jewelry in an affordable price range. When Koulian Jewelers closed, space became available, Pasch said.

"We loved all of the activities they had here," she said.

Her daughter is now in the sixth grade, and Jewels and More offered her something fun to do on her own. With her daughter in middle school, Pasch was ready for a new venture. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom, she was a hairdresser.

Pasch said she loved every minute of being a stay-at-home mother.

"I still don't want to miss out on any moment of her life," she said. "Now I have more free time. She is at school. She has her sports."

Pasch said she always has had an appreciation for fashion. Jewels and More sells affordable fashion with a focus on convenience. People in a hurry could walk in and quickly pick up a hostess gift or birthday present.

Family vacations also are a source of inspiration for Pasch.

"We always went in little boutiques," she said. "I always loved that niche. It is fun for me to get out of the house, meet people and do something girly."

Pasch grew up in a catering atmosphere, she said. Her mom owned a catering company.

"Event planning and party planning has always been my forte," she said. "I'm a good decorator. I'm into accessories. That is what motivated me in this direction."

Pasch said she loves to meet new people and make sure that whatever they are shopping for, their event is going to be fun for them.

One of her favorite items is Reverse-a-Purse. The purse features an interchangeable sleeve so the user doesn't have to change the contents of her purse when she changes purses. The consumer could have 20 different looks with one purse, Pasch said.

The most requested items are the Murano glass beads, she said, adding that lot of Pandora retailers don't carry the glass beads.

Jewels and More opened in December, and business has been steady since then, Pasch said. She held a ladies night all throughout January, with door prizes, appetizers and beverages to help draw business.

"That has really kept it fun," Pasch said.

Pasch said people often find the store online while looking for a Pandora dealer. Others stop by to just browse, Pasch said.

"They are very excited about the price point," she said. "They think it is great they can come in and pick up something for under $300."
