Antonio (Tony) Caxide of Blacklick has joined Hamilton Capital Management Inc. as Chief Investment Officer.

Antonio (Tony) Caxide of Blacklick has joined Hamilton Capital Management Inc. as Chief Investment Officer.

In his new role, Caxide will be responsible for the oversight, implementation and development of all firm investment management strategies, operations, research and communications.

Caxide joins Hamilton Capital from Lusiads Investment Management LLC, which he founded and where he served as president. He is a former chief investment officer for Nationwide Financial Investments, where he was also employed as vice president, head of portfolio management and investment strategy.

He also spent more than 15 years with CIGNA International Investment Advisers, advancing to the position of managing director and head of international fixed income.

A chartered financial analyst and frequent university speaker, Caxide holds a master of business administration degree in finance and bachelor's degrees in biology and natural resources conservation from the University of Connecticut.

He is a member of the investment advisory committee for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, former chair of the Columbus Academy Annual Fund and volunteers as a voting judge in local elections.

VOICEcorps reading service recently presented its volunteers with service pins recognizing their years of affiliation with the organization.
