Melody Myers and Jason Streeter, both of Gahanna, have announced their engagement and plans to be married.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Janet and Randy Hannum of Whitehall. She is a 2000 graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School and attended the Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is employed by Mount Carmel Hospital.

The future groom is the son of Lucinda Streeter and Harold Howell. He graduated from Whitehall-Yearling High School in 1999 and is employed by Valley Grinding.

The couple plans June 27 wedding at Stonybrook United Methodist Church.

Bishop, Baker to exchange vows

Brooke Bishop of Gahanna and Brian Baker of Pickerington have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Marilyn Bishop of Westerville and the late James Bishop. She is a 1999 graduate of Westerville South High School and is a seventh-grade history teacher.

The future groom is the son of Janis Baker of Cleveland and the late Bob Baker. He is a 1998 Mayfield High School graduate and teaches third grade.

The couple has set a July 18 wedding date, with the ceremony to be held in Delaware.
