The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) has scheduled two public input meetings for next week.

The first will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the lobby hearing room of the Rhodes State Office Tower.

The second is scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Easton Transit Center.

According to a news release from COTA, the meetings have been scheduled to receive input from the public on service changes. The timing permits COTA to examine public comments over an extended period.

Service changes occur three times a year: in January, May and September. Recommendations from these meetings will be considered for January service changes.

The first annual Columbus Pottery Show and Sale will debut Oct. 3-4 at the Aladdin Shrine Center, 3580 Stelzer Road.

The show will include more than 40 art pottery exhibitors. Vendors will feature many items from the Ohio Valley region, including Rookwood, Roseville, McCoy, Weller, Owens, Cambridge and others.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6. Free parking is available adjacent to the building.
