Between 6 and 11 p.m. Oct. 18, in the first block of Jordana Drive: A family returned home to find someone had broken into the house, apparently through a window, the screen of which had been cut the previous week. Feces had been found smeared on floors and numerous items had been stolen, including a fire safe containing $10,000, two televisions, two computers and jewelry.

11:58 a.m. Oct. 16, in the 100 block of Green Meadows Drive East: A woman reported receiving threatening text messages from someone she knows.

9:28 a.m. Oct. 15, in the 900 block of Taylor Station Road: Workers reported someone wrote $2,000 worth of fraudulent checks on a business account.

Theft from or vandalism to autos was reported from the 100 block of Walnut Street, the 1000 block of Claycraft Road and the 400 block of Waterbury Court.
