Lindsay Dale, a 2009 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, achieved at least a 3.0 grade-point average and was named to the dean's list.

Kelsey and Mallory McClellan, also graduates of GLHS, achieved at least a 3.4 GPA and were named to the president's list.

Tyler Herron of Blacklick earned a GPA of at least 3.6 and was named to the spring semester dean's list at Maryville College in Tennessee. He is studying sign-language interpreting.

Gahanna resident Molly Peirano, a student at Ohio State University, received the inaugural Robert Bickel Scholarship to attend the Novak Institute for Hazing Prevention. The institute was held June 9-12 at State University of New York Geneseo. Peirano is a marketing major at Ohio State. She plans to graduate in spring 2012.

Curtis Anderson of Gahanna is among the May 2010 graduates at the University of Akron.

He earned a bachelor of science degree.

Tyler S. Ranney of Blacklick was named to the spring 2010 dean's list at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.

To be named to the list, students must earn at least a 3.25 GPA.

Ashland University has announced its spring 2010 dean's list.

Gahanna residents named to the list were Rachel Day, Mitchell Klein, Staci Lang, Elizabeth Morton and Brandon Zaffini.

To be eligible for this honor, students must achieve at least a 3.5 GPA.

Otterbein College held its academic honors convocation this month. Departmental awards were given recognizing the academic achievements of students.

Molly Parker Smith, a senior art major from Blacklick, received the Lillian Frank/Joanne Miller Stichwey Book Award.

Brynn E. Bardelang, a senior early childhood education major from Blacklick, received the Class of 1945 Endowed Award.

Trenton I. Weaver, a senior musical theatre major from Gahanna, received the Leslie Burrell Mangia Musical Theatre Award.

Jennifer Knox, a senior allied health major from Gahanna, received the Marilyn E. Day Endowed Award.
