The Gahanna Lincoln High School DECA chapter recently finished first at the organization's International Career Development Conference in Louisville, Ky.

DECA aims to prepare emerging leaders for careers in marketing, management and entrepreneurship.

During the competition, students presented and defended marketing research projects conducted for area businesses to a panel of business professionals. Each Gahanna team competed against more than 150 teams from across North America and beyond.
