Amanda DeCastro and Jason Pheister, both of Gahanna, have joined the staff of Time Warner Cable.

Amanda DeCastro and Jason Pheister, both of Gahanna, have joined the staff of Time Warner Cable.

DeCastro will serve as communications manager, and will be responsible for internal and external communications strategies. She will work with "Connect a Million Minds," the company's signature philanthropic effort, along with other company initiatives, products and services.

DeCastro was most recently employed as a senior account executive at Fahlgren Mortine Public Relations. She is a graduate of Capital University.

Pheister is the new regional director of local programming for the Midwest region. He will lead local programming efforts in Ohio, Wisconsin, Kansas City and Lincoln, Neb.

Previously, Pheister was director of programming and product development for ONN/WBNS-10TV. He also worked for Lee Enterprises Inc.

Pheister holds an undergraduate degree from Marshall University and a master's degree in business administration from Ohio University.

Ronald Burson of Gahanna has been named president of Gorsuch Management, Fairfield Homes' property management division.

He previously served as a vice president at Fairfield.

Burson is a certified public accountant, a certified property manager and a licensed realtor. He has served as president of several real estate associations, including the Columbus Apartment Association.

Burson is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.
