Middle School South principal leaving for Worthington
Gahanna Middle School South principal Angie Adrean is leaving the Gahanna-Jefferson school district to become principal of Worthington Kilbourne High School.
The Worthington Board of Education hired Adrean at a salary of $119,642 plus benefits during its May 23 meeting.
Adrean began her career as an art teacher at Mansfield Senior High School, where she worked for seven years.
She then was assistant principal at Hilliard Darby High School for five years. Adrean has worked at MSS for nine years.
She said she was attracted to Worthington because of its reputation for excellence.
"I was ready to get back in a high school again," she said.
Adrean is replacing Ed Dunaway, who is retiring.
