The Mifflin Township Division of Fire responded to 171 emergency runs during the week of June 17-24. Fire runs included 13 fire alarms, 13 reports of fire, three natural-gas leaks, two automobile fires and 10 other calls for emergency fire-service assistance. EMS runs include 33 automobile crashes, 12 possible heart attacks, 27 illnesses, three diabetics, 14 injuries, five seizures, five unresponsive, four overdoses, 12 difficulty breathings, four assaults, four nonbreathers, three strokes and four other calls for emergency medical assistance.

3:08 p.m. June 17: Multiple-alarm fire in the 3400 block of Colony Bay Boulevard, Columbus; Mifflin companies Rescue 133 responded.

7:20 p.m. June 21: Working fire in the 1000 block of Arcaro Drive, Gahanna; Mifflin companies B131, E134, ES133, L131, P136 and R133 responded.
