Boil advisory continues through Wednesday for customers affected by water main break

Tuesday October 9, 2012 12:51 PM

A 48-hour water boil advisory continues until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, following a water main break in the Helmbright Drive area in Gahanna.

City of Gahanna’s public information manager Brian Hoyt said the Oct. 8 break interrupted and reduced water pressure to a number of residents including those on Harmony Drive, Helmbright Drive, Beaverbrook Drive and Harmony Court.

Water division crews were dispatched to assess the damage and made the necessary repairs that affected about 65 homes.

Hoyt said the city apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the line break.

Customers affected by the problem received a CodeRED phone call and door hanger notes were left at residences.
